Re: J-Mart: Kate Pryde, Krakoa, Apocalypse, Mei, Mercy, Archangel

I am not convinced that is Xavier, and your thought of Krakoa has merit. This X-men run has definitely shaken things up in a good way. I am excited to see how it plays out. This run and Immortal Hulk are my favorite Marvel reads at the moment. I LOVE The Immortal Hulk. Best Hulk book in decades. On...

Re: Marvel bows to poltical correctness and censors celebrated writer.

How did we get to this level of contention over Marvel's choice of story telling. We all have different views on how the world is shaping up and how to deal with our political differences. We would be better off talking to each other vs AT each other. Sorry if this upsets anyone on here. Hope everyo...

Re: What's new with the big two: Marvel and DC Comics discussion thread.

I checked it out, and those two issues along with the wedding of Ben and Alicia have me seriously considering picking up this book regularly. At the very least, Slott "gets" Ben and Alicia. Spoilers . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . What's funny is that it's fairly close to what I said I'd ...

Re: What's new with the big two: Marvel and DC Comics discussion thread.

I dunno if it's been mentioned yet or not, but Ares will be pleased. Spoilers Seems like the Thing finally got a KO win over the Hulk. It messed him up but he did it. Woohoo! Any idea what issue this happened in? I need to check this out. Slott's Fantastic Four #13. I'd read #12 too. It's a 2 parte...

Re: The Boys

For me it is a easy way out to abuse power in the comics setting. Peter, Steve and Clark are examples of the strongest examples of humanity. It would be easy to take advantage of their power/position. They do not . The Boys does tell a story of how power corrupts, whether political, monetary or pers...

Re: The Boys

I think you are holding back, tell us how you really feel. 😎 Garth Ennis is a teenager with all the possible worst character traits associated with being a teenager (vulgar, cynical, the worst kind of toilet humor, obsessed with sex, believes he knows everything, enjoys destruction for destruction'...

Re: The Boys

The Boys is a series I wouldn't touch with a 10 foot pole for one simple sentence: "Based on the superhero comic written by Garth Ennis". I know Ennis has his fans, that his Punisher series was quite good and there's folks that enjoyed his run on Preacher and Hitman. I am not one of them....

Avengers #20 - War of the Realms tie-in Review aka Jason Aaron has issues with She-Hulk and fans. *facepalm* To elaborate, Aaron has She-Hulk encounter literal trolls from Asgard, and when confronted with them, he has them say word for word the complaints fan had about various things, such as femal...

House of X

I just read House of X and I found myself excited about what it has laid out for the future of Marvel. It has definitely changed the Marvel comic future. Has anyone else read it? Thoughts? Concerns?

New Legion of Super-Heroes:Millennium

I am excited and very worried about this, I want this to be good , no great. I just don't think it will be. I feel they dropped the ball on Captain Marvel and will do so with this.
It is supposed to go over the History of 5he DC Universe as well as reintroduce the Legion.

Thoughts? Concerns?

Re: Jab’s Builds! (Orion! Darkseid! V. Savage! The Shade! Wonder Woman!)

My favorite WW moment is when the League thinks Toyman killed Superman, she was about to punch his head clean off and Flash had to talk her down. It shows out of ALL the League she is the one to be most afraid of, not Batman.
