Re: Jab's Builds! (Hades! Circe! Mulan! Shang! Shan Yu! Tarzan! Jane!)

Internet reviewer sfDebris did a very solid look into Atlantis (both the lore and the film) . I'd recommend checking it out. Yeah, that was really interesting- I watched it at my parents' place during Canadian Thanksgiving, and it really kept interesting the whole way. Though I got the sense he's n...

DC Comics - Heroes in Crisis & Doomsday Clock = Why so serious?

I've heard some say that The Doomsday Clock is basically the last gasp of the Nu-52, that it's ultimately a rejection of the kind of superhero setting Watchmen set up, and will be a return to more traditional DC storytelling after. And my GOD do I hope it's true, because between it and Heroes in Cri...

MCU News - Chris Evan's hangs up his shield with Avengers 4

https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.wral.com/-thankyoucap-chris-evans-bids-farewell-to-role-as-captain-america/17898953/%3fversion=amp Not how I wanted to start my morning. I felt Evan's nailed the role of Cap perfectly and his departure is a blow to the franchise. I can't imagine they'll actually kill...

Woah,woah,WOAH!....They were going to tie Atlantis into the Gargoyles TV show?! How...
From what I've seen, Demona was going to show up at during that time period as a kind of recurring nemesis for the heroes.

Re: Pulse Pounding Adventures - Pulp and Film Serial Discussion

That looks awesome. The Kenneth Robeson Doc Savage books are frequently a lot of fun and awesome. They include everything from lost Roman Legions found in the heart of Africa to Nazi saboteurs apparently aligned with the lost mermen of Atlantis. That’s funny- I wonder if Roy Thomas was referencing ...

Re: Pulse Pounding Adventures - Pulp and Film Serial Discussion

I have a small used book store in my town, I will have Doc Savage on his look out list for me. That just sounds like so much fun. The Radio Archives site I linked you on pages 2 & 3 has a lot of those books and more, both in novel and audiobook form. Than you. Are they appropriate for younger reade...

Re: Pulse Pounding Adventures - Pulp and Film Serial Discussion

And while I love the Spider (and the Shadow to a lesser extent), my favorite Pulp hero has to be this guy: https://d1466nnw0ex81e.cloudfront.net/n_iv/600/3116498.jpg That looks awesome. Fixed it for you. Thanks Ares! What was wrong with it? From what I can tell, you had copied the wrong link to the image. I had to find the original image by copying the link into Google and do "Search By Image" to find it. When posting an image on a wiki you always want to get to the original image...

Size Issues in RPGs

This is sort of an all purpose thread dealing with the unique issues facing things smaller or larger than human size can be in RPGs. However, I do have a specific issue I'd like to bring up. How size tends to work in fiction fluctuates a lot, going from something that can make something invincible o...
