Re: Who are our noted missing?

Hey, so good to see you’re still around! Very sorry this has been a difficult time for you and your wife. I understand those challenges all too well lately.

All my best.

Re: Who are our noted missing?

Wow, RUSCHE and Volton64 have been gone for a long while now, and even L-Space is going on a year… Macynsnow and Proditor (who did a wonderful conversion thread) too, though both tended to come go. Likewise, my old friend Libra has been MIA for quite a while now. And I never realized till now just ...

Re: Your Neverending Journey

The Xanth books work best if you're not fully an adult, yet. That and the older Xanth books are clearly written for a more adult audience than the later ones, which are progressively more Young Adult-aimed. A Spell for Chameleon has a muuuuch more adult tone than, say, Ogre, Ogre , let alone later ...

Re: Your Neverending Journey

Godspeed on your recovery, Davies. I have (thankfully) avoided contracting covid-19 so far, but I am cautious due to more frequent interactions with my mother and aunt since returning to the area where they live, as both well are into their senior years. Hope you are already on the mend. Piers Antho...

Re: Avengers 5

With Majors firing, Marvel has a decision to make. Recast Kang or change the story. This is my idea for the latter. After the S2 finale, one of Loki's actions is to remove Kang from the multiverse. What he didn't realize was that Kang had been stopping Dr Doom from rising to power. So Avengers 5 is...

I'll second MOTU from Halloween Jack.

Astro City if you're familiar with the title, though there are a whole LOT of characters who've barely been touched upon

All my best!

Re: Are there any games open?

You may want to check out the Mutants and Masterminds 3e FB group, if you are open to social media. There is also the official patreon for M&M, which is pretty low-cost but does feature semi-monthly games run by line developers Alex Thomas and Steve Kenson. Oh-and thanks for joining this site. I...

You may also want to check the Discord, and (if you are on FB) the Mutants and Masterminds 3e group.
Good luck-and everyone’s welcome here, so long as we’ve respectful to each other.

All my best.

Re: New here, looking for games about super-people.

Hi. I'm Ceres. I'm not very interesting, but I am told I make interesting characters. I am looking to play some of these interesting characters. I am looking for a game that is ideally about super people; people, maybe human, maybe not, who don't necessarily dress up in spandex or powered exosuits ...

Re: A.L.G.E.R.N.O.N. Files and Related

The A.L.G.E.R.N.O.N Files artwork IS extremely impressive! Frankly, it wouldn't be out of place at all in any character handbook put out by DC or Marvel (likely it would be superior now, as the their trend seems to be paying paltry rates to non-genre artists), or hardbound books produced by White Wo...
