Re: Jab’s Builds (Olaf! Queen Elsa!!!!! Oaken! Hans! Zootopia!)
Out of all the recent Disney movies the one that I really enjoyed was Zootopia, mostly because it really didn't have that "Disney style". In many ways it played much more closer to a Pixar production (BTW, yes I know that Disney owns Pixar, but the two studios have different style, nonethe...

Re: WAIFU WARZ - Now with 100% more Knight Elsa
I would contend that Elsa might fit better in the frozen Elium Loyce, although the Boreal Valley isn't too far off.

Re: Jab’s Builds (Elena! FROZEN!!! Anna! Kristoff! Olaf! Marshmallow!)
It's not as bad as it could be. At Lucca 2016 3 cosplayers out of 4 were there as movie Harley Quinn. It was terrifying. The Harley Quinn thing is kind of a conundrum for me. I mean, I understand the appeal on some level: it's a relatively simple outfit, you don't need crazy proportions for the cha...

Re: Jab’s Builds (Elena! FROZEN!!! Anna! Kristoff! Olaf! Marshmallow!)
As far as I'm concerned Frozen arrived in a rather bad moment for me and there was just so much hype around it that I lost any possible interest halfway through the advertisement campaign. The fact that at every freaking comvention there are scores of Elsa cosplayers doesn't help either. Really? Th...

Re: Superheroes with unique ability sets
The ability to detect that one is a comic book character, used to be VERY unique when it was Ambush Bug. Became less unique when She-Hulk started doing it. Now Deadpool does it, and everyone thinks it's a new thing. Ambush Bug, She-Hulk, Animal Man, Deadpool, Gwenpool are all comics versions, while...

Re: Jab’s Builds (Wreck-It Ralph! Turbo! Sofia & Elena! FROZEN!!!)
I've never seen Frozen . I'm not sure who would be more shocked by this fact: Jab or my nieces. I also have never seen Frozen. I'm not opposed to seeing it, but I have no pressing desire to see it. *raises hand* My name is Shock and I'm posting in Jab's thread but have never seen Frozen Good to kno...

Re: Sgt. Calhoun
-ANYWAYS, Calhoun is a fun, awesome character for much the same reason Sue is (or was)- she's just nicer overall. And keep in mind Calhoun is still verbally-abusive, rude, brusque and hyper-violent. Lynch fills her dialogue with a VICIOUS sneer, and she really kicks some ass. And she REALLY fills o...

Re: What's new with the big two: Marvel and DC Comics discussion thread.
Avengers reviews: A "time-wasting" filler issue spent on the Ancient Ghost Rider was well-drawn, but otherwise felt pointless, but I did like the team kind of "settling in". The characters interact well with each other. I haven't read the Namor-kills-Stingray issue yet, but yes,...

Re: Jab’s Builds (Mother Gothel! Cassandra! Varian! Wreck-It Ralph!)
My view of Wreck-It Ralph is kind of biased because I watched it with some friends that are massive videogames nuts. Still, I think that it's a really enjoyable, albeit really predictable, movie and I love some of the playful pokes they did to how the storytelling in videogames changed over the year...

Re: Daredevil Season 3 gets political
Comic books have always been political , In the sense that superheroes live in a world where politics exist, sure. Writers using superheroes to specifically push a political agenda and calling fans various insults for not following said agenda? That's fairly recently and has been destroying the com...

Re: What's new with the big two: Marvel and DC Comics discussion thread.
Let's see, it's a Tuesday . . . Yep, Namor's a villain again. Straight up villian.... Straight up "beat a fellow superhero who was just trying to talk within an inch of his life and then have a bunch of sharks completely devour him while he barely hangs on to consciousness" villain. Yeah ...

Re: The Incredibles 2 (spoiler free, mostly)
Sorry for practising my necro-posting here, but Incredibles 2 finally came out in Italy a few weeks ago and I was able to catch it last week-end. I. Fricking. Loved. It. It's hard to imagine a movie more different from the first one (at least staying withing the same genre and style), but I think th...
