Re: Macyn's Golden Gloves Gym(or,Intresting ways to Characterize fighting styles!)

Re: The Box Office Topic

The problem with Frozen and Wonder Woman is that they weren't all that great as films, but what came before them was even worse.

Even a bad meal can taste like ambrosia if you're starving.

That's not to say they were bad, but they were no where near as good as people claimed they were.

Re: Black Lightning vs Luke Cage tv series

So am I the only one who is sick and tired of watching female characters getting things without earning them? At what point did Colleen Wing do the trials of the fist to get the power? And what is it with women always trying to control everything? What I really find funny about Black Lightning is ho...

Hey,that means there's HOPE at the end of this Tunnel of Misery! :D
Or she'll just sell the characters to other companies, like Marvel did in the 90's to try and get money from them.

Re: Small Press Comic Companies - Talk About Em Here

You know,it suprises me a little that Marvel hasn't published a statement saying the didn't approve of Waid doing all that. They NORMALLY throw their Employee's under the Public Opinion Bus all the time, so i wonder why they didn't do it this time... ;) Because he has the right (rather Left) opinion...

Re: Small Press Comic Companies - Talk About Em Here

I wouldn't blame Marvel for Mark Waid's recent shenanigans with Antartic Press and Alterna Comics. Near as I can tell, his lack of presence on social media following the AP Comics incident was because Marvel felt he'd gone too far. You should. He's is using his affiliation with Marvel for these pow...

Re: Small Press Comic Companies - Talk About Em Here

Antarctic Press and Alterna Comics need support, Marvel has been sicking Mark Waid on them to bring them down, and the rest of the tabloid press, like CBR is jumping that bandwagon.

Re: Pulse Pounding Adventures - Pulp and Film Serial Discussion

I always liked Alec Balwin's version of The Shadow ,as it kept true to the Pulpyness of where he came from. I tried to like it. I also never would've picked Billy Zane as Lead for The Phantom ,but he did suprisingly good with a rather awful story. Did you know that it was one of the first superhero...
