"I'm not going to refute your opinions, but I'm going to act concerned about you for having them! They're clearly not reasoned positions held by healthy, well-adjusted people!" Classy. Yeah, did not think this one through. Hey, it's cool. I've said more than my fair share of stupid things on...

or the hamfisted laws about possible child sexuality that more or less criminalized a fair amount of fanfiction because it deals with characters of an ambiguous age. Nnnnhhh... again, I'm generally libertarian, but if there's one area I'm willing to compromise on, it's child porn. Even if it's fict...

Re: Rewrite your favorite comic characters origin.

Go with what the DCAU went with Wonder Woman and have her clay body be molded by Hippolyta together with someone else (be it Hades, Zeus, Ares, or Heracles).

Honestly, that's the way I go with Wonder Woman having a father at all.

Re: Older Mega/Crossover Events: Updated for today.

-The Golden Age Wonder Woman was Diana's mother, Hippolyta , wearing a black wig. She actually does fall in love with a mortal man and have a daughter, who becomes Fury. However, she does return to the Amazons and leaves her child to be raised by others, feeling the Amazons would not accept Fury. -...

Re: Best ideas/performances from bad movies?

BTW Ares, I think Meloni’s character should have been Nathaniel Adam that than Nathaniel Hardy.

Because, let’s face it caught in a explosion while simultaneously being shifted to the Phantom Zone would’ve been a perfect way to get DCEU Captain Atom.

Re: Pulse Pounding Adventures - Pulp and Film Serial Discussion

I took it personally with how The Lone Ranger movie was handled, He was always a hero of mine. I have a radio album framed on my living room wall. I hope they do Doc Savage justice. I fear they will not. I think the older Skarsgard brother( name is escaping me) would have been a better choice. Alex...

Re: Aquaman!!

I know, right? Maybe if this does well, we'll get more "silly" villains on screen. I just hope they actually call him Black Manta, I'm tired of the lack of superhero names in superhero films. I don't know why Black Manta is a "silly" villain. He killed Aquababy. That's like Joker-level street cred....

Re: Buffy the Vampire Slayer reboot

Personally, if you want do a reboot like this right, I'd go and make it a stealth sequel.

I mean think about it, the original ended in 2003. New show will be 2019ish. 16 years. Buffy was 16 at the start of the show. A child could have been born soon after season 7 and named after Ms. Summers.

The Batman has the horrible luck of having the executives at Warner Bros. absolutely terrified of ever giving him a live-action television series.
And even as campy as that was, it was still awesome as balls.

The hero is clearly M’Baku. He’s also one of the best depictions of Lawful Good I’ve yet seen in a MCU movie.
Not to mention the best thing they ever did with that character since forever.
He was essentially Prince Vultan from Flash Gordon and I loved that.

Re: Gal Gador Being Wonderful

Audrey Hepburn was a UN Goodwill Ambassador for darn near forever and quite likely the only thing to come out of the United Nations that my cynical misanthropic heart will ever acknowledge as a good thing that body ever did. She was almost as nice as Mr. Rogers. And of course let’s not forget Shirl...
