Re: CW Superheroes: The Flash, Arrow, Supergirl and Legends of Tomorrow

Funny. I lamented n how quickly the whole Red Kryptonite episode was resolved because the build up was well done. Now, I just want Alex to get her memory back already. The effects have gotten better, and I even feel the characters have gotten better... but the story and the SJ this season... blech ...

Re: Jab’s Builds (Longshot! Mojo! Lockdown! Lectronn! Lynx! Lilandra!)

Yeah, that was a pretty lame origin for Prof. X's crippling. It does go to show that the X-Men was not Stan's best work, or at least not where his energy was focused at the time. I do like the idea that Magneto had some involvement in Charles losing his legs, though I'd prefer something more like X...

Re: Aquaman!!

This is such a weird time to be a superhero fan. If you had told me 20 years ago I'd be seeing movies where Rocket Raccoon and Groot are not only regulars, but popular, I'd have laughed. If you'd told me I'd see a film where Ego the Living Planet was the villain, I'd have been incredulous. If you h...

I loved Spider-Ham beating the crap out of Scorpion.

The unicorn in the season premiere turned me off of LoT this year. Has it been any good?
The fact that a demonic homicidal unicorn that was slaughtering hippies at Woodstock turned you off from the show disappoints me.

Just flat out disappoints me.

Re: What's new with the big two: Marvel and DC Comics discussion thread.

I'm not a fan of generalizing any large swath of Americans as potential traitors unless they prove otherwise. If they wanted to say a small group like Antifa was, well, they already claim to be communists and are actual violent thugs, so it works. But to paint several states as essentially being tr...

Re: What's new with the big two: Marvel and DC Comics discussion thread.

What is Coates doing that’s so bad? I haven’t followed his Cap run. He's basically said that a large portion of the "flyover states" (everything west of Chicago and easy of Vegas) are Russian collaborators waiting to happen. That there is a literal army of people who will happily join up with Russi...

I felt pretty much the same about the movie. I did love the princess scenes and Vanellope’s anti-princess song was great but overall you’re right it will be forgotten pretty quickly I think.
Yeah, Vanellope’s song was probably the most hilariously f-Ed up things I have ever seen Disney done.

Re: RIP Stan Lee

It's impressive how much he can be loathed by 'his' side and still be considered the voice of the Left by the Right. But then he's useful in demonstrating every stereotype Republicans have on liberals combined. But whatever, it's not like Evil Can Comprehend Good. The most vocal people on both side...

Rest In Peace. Also Eff Bill Maher. In Maher, we have a clear demonstration of worthless, parasitical sub-annelid that spits in the face of things of value their reptile brain can't even comprehend while calling itself enlightened for doing so. It's impressive how much he can be loathed by 'his' si...
