Re: The Hollow Earth Expedition RPG

Really, if there is anything I love about Hollow Earth Expedition as well the rest of Ubiquity System-powered games, it's the elaborate first-person backstories they give to the pregenerated characters.

There will be guidelines on how to integrate the various teams with existing heroes, such as the Freedom League's presence on the world stage given an official U.N. peacekeeper super-team.

All my best.
Good, although because much like Algernop Kreiger, my p**** can only get so erect.

Re: Superteam Handbook

Guess what? Another update from Krystal about the Handbook. Specifically involving the teams. Who’s Who and What’s What In the previous blog, I mentioned that I’d give you the lowdown on the various teams this week, so here we go! UNIQUE (PL 12): The United Nation’s premiere superhero team, focused ...

Re: Captain Marvel trailer(original Captain Marvel)

Counter-intuitively, I don't like the idea of Captain Marvel being able to shoot lightning from his hands. A lot of fans would love the idea of their favorite character getting a power upgrade, and when I was younger I definitely would have thought "yeah, super lightning blasts are cool!" But as ti...

Re: Captain Marvel MCU

Really though, it can best said about the complainers, "If you think that comics shouldn't be political, what you're really saying is that you deeply regret that you've grown up to become the kind of person your favourite comic book character would punch in the face." Said by idiots who view politi...

This is not how to debate (formerly Captain Marvel MCU)

There used to be a button you could click saying "Not Interested," along with one that said you WERE interested. There was a percentage displayed of how many respondants were interested in seeing it. This was, of course, heavily weighted in favor of the movie, because most of the time, you're eithe...

Re: Doom Patrol, The TV series.

I've been watching it and I've been loving it. Just might be my favorite new show of the year.

I mean, look at how they handle Cyborg.

Not to mention, what happens next.

As you noted it seems like Freddy is acting more like Billy than Billy is.
True about that element, in fact you could easily explain the whole mouthy sarcasm-aspect as a orphan-related coping mechanism.

Re: DC Comics - Heroes in Crisis & Doomsday Clock = Why so serious?

Nonetheless, I think that whole sequence shows that raw power obviously wasn't going to take out Osterman. I feel it could confirm a theory I've had since the beginning, that Superman vs Dr. Manhattan is not going to be a fist fight, but an ethical debate about hope. The man-god who has lost his hum...

Re: CW Superheroes: The Flash, Arrow, Supergirl and Legends of Tomorrow

Funny. I lamented n how quickly the whole Red Kryptonite episode was resolved because the build up was well done. Now, I just want Alex to get her memory back already. The effects have gotten better, and I even feel the characters have gotten better... but the story and the SJ this season... blech ...
