Re: The ongoing fall of Venezuela

Yes, and what a great time saver it is, when you don't have to wait for corrupt government officials to get into bed with corrupt heads of industry (or vice versa) because they're the same people.

Re: Muslim Culture, History and Politics - Open Debate

So, despite having left the Church, I still had a reflexive urge to correct some of Ken’s mistakes in his opening paragraph. It is mostly right, but it misses out some of the nuance in the transubstantiation versus transformation versus symbolism debate. Yeah, I was going for broad overview; trying...

Re: Muslim Culture, History and Politics - Open Debate

Okay, I'm going to assume that whatever people's beliefs are everyone here has heard of Jesus' Last Supper. One of the biggest things to come out of the Last Supper is the doctrine of the Holy Eucharist. In short, that Jesus imbued a bit of God's infinite divinity into the bread and wine, and shared...

I assume you mean by Jaime, and not by the creators who treated "Ded" Kord like garbage to clear the path to the trademark.

Re: Muslim Culture, History and Politics - Open Debate

Fascist ideologies do promote peace, and if peace at any cost is one's goal, then, sure. Me? I have no fondness for war. And I hope if I'm ever asked to be a martyr for my faith, I'm up to the task. But as a general rule, I really don't like the idea of being murdered just because in a little under ...

The Sandman is particularly known for dealing with crimes involving children, often rescuing kidnapped children.
Say your prayers little one
Don't forget, my son
To include everyone
I tuck you in
Warm within
Keep you free from sin
Until the Sandman he comes

Re: Jab's Builds! (Sailor Pluto! The Witches 5! Kaolinite! Sailor Saturn!)

A good Sailor [Insert Name Here] is always high on my “daaamn!” list. But, then again, I have a thing for ladies with nice legs that rival’s Jab’s MILF devotion. The Sailor Senshi, universally, have legs that go all the way up. Then, the name I shall insert is "Bubba"... Sailor Bubba is a cosplayer...

What about the art seen here? I believe it may be related to taekwondo, given the similar name.

Re: Batgirl III's Character Thread

So I made a three and a half foot tall chicken, running around with a pair of magic swords, who for no logical reason whatsoever found himself in rural Arkansas... and it turned out to be epic . I don't know. Considering how much chicken production happens in Arkansas, there may have been a logical...

Re: Dr. Doom vs Godzilla

Yes, but Godzilla at least acknowledged them. Not like Doom and Alexander Flynn. Doom was so egotistical he had to grown a clone in a lab rather than acknowledge an actual son.

And the whole thing with Valeria gives me a headache.

Marg Helgenberger

And because, I was in a hurry, and didn't have time for my indecision. And it worked well enough last time.

"I'm not saying I invented the turtleneck. But I was the first person to realize its potential as a tactical garment. The tactical turtleneck!" Not to be confused with the Sacramento Turtleneck.
