Re: Jab’s Builds (Colossus! Cosmo! Cecilia Reyes! Cyclops!)

I have 2 lasting memories of Mortal Kombat 1) Last year of high school my friend's little brother, probably 14 at the time, had obtained the secret code to show the blood on the Sega version. The game shipped with the blood turned mostly transparent so you were punching "sweat" out of them instead o...

Weatherman
HP: 1 LP: 4

Chris ignored the look from Nick. "Yeah, so can we go have a look around? Maybe meet some of the locals?"

Re: Claremont Academy: The Delinquents OOC (full)

HH, just for coolness, I'd like to be able to predict inconsequential stuff on the fly. Let me know if I get carried away and I'll dial it back. My thought is that Chris is constantly seeing a few seconds ahead without any effort. That's how his ability contributes to combat. Seeing farther than tha...

Weatherman
HP: 1 LP: 4

Chris shrugged. "I think I know the answers I need." He wore faded, ripped jeans and a thin hoodie. He closed his eyes for a second. "Pretty sure I end up with Nick."
Lemme know if that color is too hard to read and I'll adjust it

Re: Claremont Academy: The Delinquents OOC (full)

I like the characters presented a great deal. I'm a touch worried Weatherman might not prove particularly fun in combat situations, but if Shock wants to give it a try...I have faith in his judgement. Besides he can always invest those 5 saved points in something if he needs to hit things a little ...

Re: Claremont Academy: The Delinquents OOC (full)

A few things. Yes, he really does go by Weatherman as a codename. He's 5 points short. I'm not sure what to do with that. Open to suggestions. In combat, he's a total support character, which I'm aware might be an issue with only 4 PCs. If anyone thinks that's going to be a big problem, I'll rework ...

Re: Claremont Academy: The Delinquents OOC (full)

Unlike other kids, Christopher Wayne recruited himself into the government program for powered teens. He saw himself working for them out of a certain building and just showed up to volunteer. After a short interview, he was acccepted into the organization. Chris grew up having dreams that he knew w...

Stan Lee probably had a hand in more of my entertainment than any other single person. Marvel comics might be the most valuable entertainment property in the world right now. What a legacy. He's going to be missed

This really sounds like my kind of game. I'm not sure I'll come up with an idea in a timely manner but it'll be nice to have you active again ClassDunce.

Re: Jab’s Builds (Brigitte! Maximus Lobo! Lois London! Crystar!)

I had the green guy and my brother had the blue guy. I think we also had one of the bad guys. Aside from Crystar, I'm not sure I ever knew their names. They were cool because nothing else was translucent at the time and I was 8-9 years old. They got thrown in with all the other random GI Joe sized f...

Was there ever any good reason on why her costume is a color flipped version from SpiderWoman?
I was thinking the same thing. That's some lazy costume design. Still kinda cool though

Also, went back and re-did the opening post a third time. Hopefully the last time. Sheesh.
Iterative design isn't something to be embarrassed about. Almost nobody can slap something together and have it be just the way you want it right away.
