Re: Impervious toughness in 3e

I've decided to stay with my house rule. Every two ranks of Impervious removes one rank of damage from the incoming attack. If it reduces it down to 0, then the attack does no damage.

Re: M&M 3E - New Product Ideas

I don't believe that GR has the DC license anymore, which is why we haven't seen anything from that line for years now. I could of course be wrong. For those lambasting GR for reprinting previous edition books, I'd like to point out they wouldn't do it, if it didn't sell. It's just how the market wo...

Re: M&M 3e Chain Lighitning!

Going to have to look for a better option, then. Multiattack is going to cause a problem for the power.

Re: M&M 3e Chain Lighitning!

So a player could say all the bad guys, and you make a check for each.

Re: M&M 3e Chain Lighitning!

So let me get this straight, the Multiattack number is how many targets that can be hit per strike?

M&M 3e Chain Lighitning!

So my players are in Earth Prime Japan, and they've met with a local super, thing is, I've not full made her yet (to be fair, if you know the system, you can run characters cold and stupid. Which is perfect for me), she's a superspeedster with lightning blast ability. I was thinking of a couple of A...

Re: Swinging and Grapnels and you in M&M 3e

Actually, I've decided that it's a modification of the Zip-Line from the Gadget Guide, but I want to thank you all, just helping parsing it out clarified several points. So again, I sincerely want to thank you all for the help. The end result, before I forget: Grapnel Wrist Guns: Array • 3 total poi...

Re: Swinging and Grapnels and you in M&M 3e

I got a clarification for what the player wants, he plays the game DC Universe Online and he wants to mimic the grappling the Acrobatic movement set has, namely the wall pull and upward grapple pull (Which is faster than your wall crawl.) I like the Leaping, but I'm thinking it would have 'Platform'...

Swinging and Grapnels and you in M&M 3e

So does any one know exactly does Swinging operate? I have a play a character in a 3e game who wants to use his grapnel launcher to 'pull' him up or across various obstacles, like walls and buildings.

Re: Impervious toughness in 3e

That doesn't sound 'right' to me. I see how it reads that way, and is probably the right way to rule, but I don't like it.

Re: Freedom City 3e

I have a few beefs with it, as I got a copy.

I'm disappointed that FC 3e has better information on the city than the ENTIRE boxed set of Emerald City. There's more information in that book about neighbourhoods, while EC has so little about anything other than the rich and the happening.
