I think the courage of Mehen can fill in if Achilles is unavailable.
I don't think any of the Egyptian Pantheon are going to put Black Adam down on their resumes. He's a black mark on their reputation.
The Courage of Elbiam then.

Re: J2

They did a "Billy Batson" thing with him, having a juvenile gain the uber-powers of the Juggernaut, His schtick was that he was REALLY young- both being immature and kind of cowardly, unwilling to put himself in danger even though he was nearly invulnerable- a pretty good, realistic character trait...

Re: Jab's Builds! (Hugo! Abigail! Ed! Kolin! Menat! MC2-Verse!)

The metal shield can get away with being a lot thinner than a wooden shield though, so I figured it balanced out.

Re: Jab's Builds! (Hugo! Abigail! Ed! Kolin! Menat! MC2-Verse!)

I could never really 'accept' American Dream for a very petty reason, she's a teenage girl (albeit a highly athletic one) and yet she's somehow able to throw that shield around like Cap does, I just couldn't see how that was possible. It's also one of the reasons I preferred Bucky Barnes taking the...

Yeah, but then there'd be a nipple visible on at least the far breast. Of course, the guy was probably aiming for PG-rated over R :).
The nipple should be visible either way with something that tight, regardless of if it's fabric or bodypaint.

Re: American Dream

Okay that last one's not canon :). ... I think they'd have done better if it had ;~) I just find it funny that the artist CLEARLY knows how fabric works (those pants, while tight, still have folds in the material), yet colored it in like she just painted her naked torso with shiny paint. No folds o...

Re: Jab's Builds! (Hugo! Abigail! Ed! Kolin! Menat! MC2-Verse!)

There's one thing, as far as I'm concerned the DC comics has been better than Marvel at setting up legacy characters (starting with the various Robins) for a long time. On the other hand, Marvel was usually better at team books. Neither of these is an absolute, but just a feeling I got from reading...

Re: Jab's Builds! (Hugo! Abigail! Ed! Kolin! Menat! MC2-Verse!)

Looking back at it, the MC2 line was mostly world building so the primary character (Spider-Girl) could interact with other heroes. Saying that, it's one of the few alternate realities that I actually liked and wouldn't mind seeing more of. I think you got it right, still I believe that there was p...

Re: Castellia- A Fantasy Setting (Scyther! Arcanine! GODDAMN ZUBATS!!!)

I emphasised psychic types a lot, often with a fire type as my starter (except in Pokémon Yellow obviously), but it's been long enough that I couldn't tell you a specific party layout. The starters in question were Charmander and Cyndaquil, by the way. I have to admit I stopped playing between Gold/...

Re: J-Mart: Vega, The Fantastic Four, Doctor Doom

Doctor Doom is easily one of my favourite supervillains because he's pretty much got it all as far as villains go. He's three dimensional and sympathetic enough as a character to actually He's often very complex and nuanced in his motivations, but also extremely straightforward in his goals. He's pe...

Re: Jab's Builds! (Poison! Hugo! Abigail! Ed! Kolin! Menat!)

I am an unabashed fan of Spider-Girl and will defend her to the death. The rest of the MC2 universe is okay, but I never got into reading any of the stuff outside of Spider-Girl's own series.

Re: Jab's Builds! (Final Fight! Rolento! Cody! Guy! Haggar! Poison!)

In regards to Poison, her being Pre-op and "tucking" makes no sense to me for a couple reasons. 1) I feel like, with the shorts she wears, tucking or not tucking wouldn't really hide much, at least not for long, and 2) Wouldn't 'tucking' be an extremely uncomfortable thing to do in a fight, especia...

Re: Jab's Builds! (Final Fight! Rolento! Cody! Guy! Haggar! Poison!)

Since the fans are allowed to think whatever they want, I think Poison is a cis woman. The whole story of why she had to be changed for American audiences seems quite reasonable. Pretty much everything that came after that? Not so much. Why is it unreasonable for her to be considered a transgender ...

Re: Castellia- A Fantasy Setting (Cetaceals! Scyther! Arcanine!)

I always considered them dogs 'cause they were used as police dogs in the cartoon. It seemed obvious, and there wasn't another obvious option for 'dog' Pokémon in the same way that Meowth and Persian were obviously cats, and Vulpix and Ninetails were obviously foxes.
