Re: Gods Amongst Man Epoch (3e M&M Recruitment to 07/27)

To clarify, the old man didn't "appear" until all four of you were present.

Re: On the road (D&D 5E IC)

Once Kriv;'s signet has been pressed to the wax seal on the contract, the waitress shows the party to a table and directs Salazar to the water closet. At the table, there is an honest to goodness menu. Unlike taverns you may be more familiar with where the items to choose from tend to run from bread...

Re: On the road (D&d 5E Recruiting Closed)

I could have swore I saw a post from StarGuard planning to try and steal from people. Did that get deleted? I was just about to post that the patrons were too on guard for any of them to be considered reasonable marks.

Re: On the road (D&D 5E IC)

There are a few murmerd among the patrons of the establishment before a young woman wearing what must be the waitress attire approaches with a small note board. "E-excuse me sir.. Do you have any manner of signet so we may open you an account with the Stag?" She looks a little nervous given your ove...

Re: On the road (D&D 5E IC)

The city is as lively as one would imagine such a hub of trade from not only local sources being exported, but all the trade flooding in from the across the sea. That being said, in this neck of the woods, you all, except Exile, sort of stick out. The populace is primarily human, no shocker there. T...

Of course it is. The ghost behind your left shoulder looks positively spooked.

Or was it spooky? :P

Re: G.A.M.E. Gods Amongst Man Epoch (3e IC)

"No, not long at all, all things considered." Obviously it wasn't who Lindy had been speaking to, but it was who answered. As on alert as the four of you are, and as long as Jackson had been sitting there with his head on a swivel, he can't recall seeing the man the next table over ever having sat ...

Re: [3E OOC] The J.V. Team

Well, the energy arcs on Titaness are brief but frequent flashes, the bomb would be... Well, kind of a waste being a single brief flash. Just my take on it. The flashes would be atmospheric, and not terribly useful in the grand scheme of moving around and fighting (maybe blanket treat it as poor lig...

Re: Small Town Heroes (IC)

Maya McKinny (Lifestream / HP: 1) Ugh...finally the last one...no, this doesn't look dangerous at all.. Maya looked on in disbelief at the last test. In one sense, she understood heroes tended to take a beating as part of the job, but what she didn't really understand how these tests were so....gen...

Re: Small Town Heroes (OOC/Recruitment Closed)

I'll get a post and roll up tonight for Maya. She's so baffled at these tests. All three have a certain element of taking a bit of a beating. The dodgeballs being the least, though with some super strength types, I'm sure it would still sting to take a hit. But the scrap falling and this hydraulic r...

Re: On the road (D&d 5E Recruiting Closed)

The writeup for them doesn't include them pinging as monstrosities. Additionally important since they can be affected by hold person.

If they were meant to be monstrosities, it would be in the stat block, so they just ping as humanoid

Re: On the road (D&d 5E Recruiting Closed)

should be, since i gave them to you :P

Still, a 25 seems pretty impressive for such a feat, even factoring in that all elements involved are on horseback.

Re: On the road (D&D 5E IC)

The elder guard looks at Salazar as he tries the silver tongue approach, then at Kaine as he goes for the tried and true silver palm technique. Smoothly, the guard pockets the coins. "Prancing Pony's been torn down for a few years now. Must have been a while since you were last here. I'd recommend C...
