Re: Recruitment Thread (The Jabverse)- Recruiting CLOSED

I am, in fact, still here! If our GM wants to throw any wrinkles at Doctor Mercury back at the lab I'm available for it, but otherwise I'm fine being in the background for a while.

Re: [3e] Welcome to the West End - IC

Pistolero HP: 1 Condition: Fine Bernardo Perez leaned against a street light and picked his teeth. He could faintly hear the sounds of someone plink-plinking away at a guitar through the open window of an apartment, but it was hard to focus on with the Devil's Advocates riding around begging for at...

Doctor Mercury

"Too much talking," Maki says abruptly. "This group needs a leader. Pick whoever you want, I will obey them as long as I am paid and have access to your medical files."

Re: [3e] Welcome to the West End - Recruiting

https://i.imgur.com/SQZLQoo.jpg Pistolero Bernardo Perez is a high school senior, a decent but not great student, with a secret: he's a mutant with psychic powers. An esper, you might say. He was offered an invitation to the Claremont Academy a few years ago, to help him understand and control his ...

Re: Welcome to the West End - Recruiting

Actually, since gangs are an issue in this neighborhood, would a member of a local gang work? About as "white hat" as gangs can get: mostly existing for mutual self-defense for people who can't rely on the police to get involved with them. A single metahuman could be the center of a small-time gang...

Re: Jabverse- The Victory League (IC)

Doctor Mercury "Out of da-- OUT OF DATE?!?!?" Neville is at once horrified, angry, shocked and hurt. If there's one thing nerds hate, it's being corrected. And if there's one thing they love, it's always being right. But soon his expression is changed to a determined, frantic one, as he begins hamm...

Re: Welcome to the West End - Recruiting

This sounds right up my alley, although I don't really have a character design ready for it yet. Would something like this work well? Not the criminal part, but the "psychic imaginary friend" part.

Re: Jabverse- The Victory League (IC)

Doctor Mercury BARRACUDA (not pictured; a guy in a pirate's uniform)- Thomas Hargreave, a modern-day pirate, complete with cutlass and musket. Non-powered, and more of a nuisance. From his hiring, we gather that the Agents are simply out to recruit ANYONE with an aquatic gimmick- he's a total Jobbe...

Re: Recruitment Thread (The Jabverse)- Recruiting CLOSED

Area Effect might work as a chemical that’s released in the Doc’s wake, allowing the others to pick up on it. I should give the group a full bio of the villains. Not all of them are “known members” yet. Try to look surprised when you see the others :). In the example in the Gadget Guide, Daedalus u...

I'd show a scene where Koriand'r of Tamaran is explicitly shown to be able to bench press no more than 2 tons, and officially reset her strength level to what it was prior to the Radium Age.

Re: Jabverse- The Victory League (IC)

Doctor Mercury "I'm stumped, never caught any of this group in the act. Shoot, the most dangerous I've dealt before joining this team is some of the weaker members of the Dino Crew. Though if comics have taught me anything, never ever deal with aquatic foes in their favored environment unless you o...
