Design Diary: House Rules for ARevised

Expanded STATS The three stat system of ARevised is just fine. However, for me, I like a little more detail to my characters. So I broke each stat into two stats, to cover all the basics in a six stat system. I think many people can ballpark which stat to use for most things. MIGHT (MIT) represents...

Re: G-Core Prime?

Anyone here got this game? It is supposed to be a modernized-yet-pretty-much-fully-compatible version of the faserip system from the old Marvel RPG (which I never played, but have heard good things about). It is damn cheap at $2,50 for the pdf, but even so I'm hoping to get some opinions on it (esp...

Re: Realms of Karmyth (Low to Mid level Fantasy Setting)

That's a good question, and something I suppose I should consider. But here's what I do know that can be shared. Endria is one big melting pot, and is open to just about anyone as long as they follow the laws of the land. It's neighbor Kesh, though somewhat solitary in nature, they share much in tra...

Re: Mister B's :: Elder Scrolls Goodness

I'll have to peek into the creation kit and see what Faringar has.

Re: Mister B's :: Elder Scrolls Goodness

I wish you could talk Balgruuf to make his own side in the game,as he'd make a better King than the Figurehead the Empire places on the throne. The Stormcloaks are just wrong IMO,as they NO plan for after they win.Ulfric doesn't honestly give 2 shites about ruling, just saying he's in charge.I can s...

Re: Realms of Karmyth (Low to Mid level Fantasy Setting)

The Non Human Races for Karmyth There are some slight variations to the standard non-human races because of the setting is more specific. But Half Orcs, Tieflings, and Dragonborn do not exist in the world of Karmyth. The Dwarves of Khavarundin Dwarves of "Duwar" live primarily in the great mountain...

System Showcase: Forge Engine Universal

This is something new I wanted to try, instead of just shoving a character sheet on a page with no clue about the system being used. So I'm calling this the “System Showcase” for a lack of a better term. And I wanted to take you folks through the game “Forge Engine Universal Role playing system” whi...

Re: Mister B's :: Not sure where it's going xD

I'm not sure if it is or not, its my own system evolved from 1st edition MnM. The d20 Star Wars system used two kind of "damage". Normal Hit Points were like ablative armor, they increased with the character level, they were easy to lose and easy to heal. Wounds were almost a fixed value (equal to ...

Re: Mister B's :: Not sure where it's going xD

Ah yeah, I remember that somewhat. Maybe that is where I got it, Though I like the Idea of a wound threshold, plus a score that represents the life and death damage.
