Re: [3e] Welcome to the West End - OOC

The IC thread is up Here . If there are any questions just ask them lol. I'm trying to give you guys the leeway to show us where your characters are coming from before you reach the action. I just wanted to start the game with an explosion and something to aim yourselves towards. Personal NPC's or N...

[3e] Welcome to the West End - IC

Welcome to the West End! – Issue #1: Nuclear Fallout! ***Now*** “Can you turn the TV up Frank?” Officer Louis Carr asked the young Barista as he handed him his coffee. The West End Grind was a local coffee shop across the street from the West End Division of the Freedom City Police Department. “Som...

Re: [3e] Welcome to the West End - Recruiting

Alright so this is never easy and this was no exception I literally had a major argument with myself in my living room earlier today about this, started drinking and forgot what I had decided on and then had another major argument with myself. This is our cast though. Every character pitched though ...

Re: [3e] Welcome to the West End - Recruiting

I'm going to make my decision Sunday afternoon and hopefully have the game up on Monday. Some pretty cool builds.

Re: Welcome to the West End - Recruiting

[Let me know if this is too silly a concept.] I mean... Shit I was the king of the ridiculous character lol. I on two different occasions played an old lady... Go for it. Actually, since gangs are an issue in this neighborhood, would a member of a local gang work? About as "white hat" as ...

Re: Welcome to the West End - Recruiting

Alright an overview of the hero’s active in Freedom City can’t be talked about without discussing the Freedom League even if they are Nationwide at this point. The team works out of the Lighthouse currently with Daedalus, Star Knight and Thunderbolt living on the orbiting satellite. Freedom Hall is ...

Re: Jab’s Builds (Lois London! Crystar! Cammi! Conan the Barbarian!)

I love the Inhumanoids! I've had the theme song stuck in my head for nearly 25 years. My mom got it for me on VHS at a Garage Sale. This and DinoRiders. Loved it sad that I was almost a decade too late to get any of the toys lol.

Re: Welcome to the West End - Recruiting

I really like all of the character ideas thrown out there so far. When you're working on your bios, and a few of you have already done this, try to find someway to tie your character to the community. This could be through your complications or it could just be background. @Davies, I asked for chara...

It's 3e. I don't see any reason to run 2e anymore.

[3e] Welcome to the West End - OOC

Welcome to the West End. Flowing down from Lantern Hill toward Greenbank is the West End of Freedom City. The West End was originally a number of small ethnic communities settled around the end of the 19th century. Today, they have blended together into an overall community, although pockets of the...

Huh...I guess we're not done with the mutants yet! Check out this new item for Aisle 2 as our X-Verse run continues! http://i935.photobucket.com/albums/ad199/Thorpacolypse/259038-168990-havok.jpg We wear these things so people don't know who we are. Re: Project Freedom DVD Commentary (?)

This was one of my favorite chapters. It was hands down one of our best chapters when it came to Player Character interaction. There was probably more substantive deep conversations in this chapter than any other. It also has my single favorite bit of conversation between Charlie and Robin. It start...

Re: Project Freedom DVD Commentary (?)

Alright so Charlie jumping out of the building and taking the fight outside... Up to this point I don't believe I ever had any intentions of Charlie learning how to fly. I didn't give the leaping attack a second thought before I did it. I just figured if Charlie missed with her levels of invulnerabl...

Re: Project Freedom DVD Commentary (?)

I was not happy about the reveal. I have two memories about Charlie's relationship with Callie, at this point, and that was an awesome joke I made where Charlie didn't know the difference between the terms Socialite and Socialist and the reveal that Callie was in a relationship with someone else whi...
