Re: Project Freedom DVD Commentary (?)

This was one of my favorite chapters. It was hands down one of our best chapters when it came to Player Character interaction. There was probably more substantive deep conversations in this chapter than any other. It also has my single favorite bit of conversation between Charlie and Robin. It start...

Re: Project Freedom DVD Commentary (?)

Alright so Charlie jumping out of the building and taking the fight outside... Up to this point I don't believe I ever had any intentions of Charlie learning how to fly. I didn't give the leaping attack a second thought before I did it. I just figured if Charlie missed with her levels of invulnerabl...

Re: Project Freedom DVD Commentary (?)

I was not happy about the reveal. I have two memories about Charlie's relationship with Callie, at this point, and that was an awesome joke I made where Charlie didn't know the difference between the terms Socialite and Socialist and the reveal that Callie was in a relationship with someone else whi...

Re: Project Freedom DVD Commentary (?)

I haven't talked to Stickman in years, like since all of this happened, he kind of disappeared after this. However if I remember correctly, He was a kid. Maybe anywhere from 18-20 years old. I remember him stating that he was still in school at one point he talked about starting school and assumed h...

Re: Project Freedom DVD Commentary (?)

I think a lot of that had to do with how active the OOC thread was. We were posting in that almost as often as we were posting in the IC thread. There was also a point where I communicated with most of you almost daily through Instant Messaging programs. For the most part we each knew where everyone...

Re: Project Freedom DVD Commentary (?)

Project Freedom was my very first play by post game and also the first time I ever played Mutants & Masterminds. Hell Strong Girl was the first character I ever made for the system, which is probably why she was so simple and not built like most power houses were built. Going into the game itself I ...

Re: Project Freedom DVD Commentary (?)

I just started a reread today. It's odd to read now, eight years after it started. I'm surprised how long it lasted especially with how rough the start was. The PvP was real in those first days.

Re: Tips for writing dialogue

My biggest pet peeve is when dialogue is so unnatural. In real life, we stumble over words or we take little pauses to consider what to say. We interrupt each other when things get heated. We have our own personal way of talking--isms that make our manner of speech unique. It's not just personal th...
