It's like she walked right out of an old Pulps cover, Tommy Gun and all. I love it.

Re: To anyone who posts on RPG.net, they have recently updated their rules.

Kreu didn't set the policy for RPG.net, BG, nor does he likely have an encyclopedic knowledge of every incident that happened there. He's just explaining and elaborating on them to me because I asked a question about it, likely from stuff he's just heard over the years while there. I didn’t think t...

Re: To anyone who posts on RPG.net, they have recently updated their rules.

I'll also use this opportunity to say this: As a general rule, I trust most of you guys to keep things civil and act rational. For the most part, I feel that trust has been validated, given I've only had to ever temporary ban two people on these boards. HOWEVER . I understand that many of you may ha...

Re: To anyone who posts on RPG.net, they have recently updated their rules.

First I've heard about the FBI thing, but the RPG.net community have had a number of bad experiences with GG/Redpill, such that this has been the forums standing policy for a couple of years now "Cleared" might have been too strong a term, but the FBI did investigate Gamergate due to alleged threat...

Re: To anyone who posts on RPG.net, they have recently updated their rules.

Honestly, it might just be for the best. I get into enough rants about the various topics that annoy me here. There's no reason to bring that negtivity to a site where I'm mainly using it to mine for ideas, find out about gaming products I wasn't aware of, get writing advice and potentially promote ...

To anyone who posts on RPG.net, they have recently updated their rules.

Here: https://forum.rpg.net/showthread.php?828960-Questions-and-Reactions-to-the-new-forum-rules And here: https://forum.rpg.net/showthread.php?828959-RPG-net-Rules-amp-Guidelines-(Revised-5-26-2018) A big red flag that stood out for me is as follows: Support of Gamergate, racial supremacist groups,...

Re: BriarThrone Reviews: The Last Jedi (SPOILERS)

I was never a fan of Star Wars, honestly, I mean I like laserswords and spaceships as much as any nerd... But, even as a little kid, I could see how hackneyed and phoned in the stories were. Star Wars was just a farm boy rescuing a princess from the black knight’s tower, with help from the smug-but...

Re: BriarThrone Reviews: The Last Jedi (SPOILERS)

I'd argue that the Star Wars franchise has plenty of storytelling opportunities left in it. The amount of novels, video games, tv shows, comics and so on showcase that there's plenty of things that could make for solid stories. I mean, hell, the Marvel Cinematic Universe has something like 19 movies...

Re: Jab's Builds! (Wolverine! Shingen! Native! Lady Deathstrike!)

The Reavers are fun conceptually, anyway. My understanding was that originally, the Reavers were the survivors of the infamous "Now its MY turn!" but Logan pulled where he sliced up several Hellfire Club goons. The ones that lived were outfitted by Donald Pierce to get revenge, and then decided to b...

Re: [CROSSOVER] Aberrant (White Wolf) vs Paragons (Green Ronin)

The talk about adding more settings to the Aberrant/Paragons (Aberrant Paragons? I'm just going to call it AP from this point) setting as either part of a Red Skies crossover, a "This is how its always been" setting, or a "The Crisis Came and This is What's Left" setting, has made me re-think what w...
