Re: Help finding an old topic from the Atomic Think Tank

You know, going through those old threads reminds me of how much more active I use to be on the creative side of things. Most of my creative energies these days is on that RPG system I'm hoping to Kickstart, but I need to start posting some more home brew stuff on here.

Re: Help finding an old topic from the Atomic Think Tank

Wouldn't be Reality Storm Reflections ? It's one you started, but Libra did a lot of posting and it namechecks those four at the outset. Google search query of site:www.atomicthinktank.com "Mutants & Masterminds Settings" ares protonik Searching by site is a handy trick. That's the thread! Thank yo...

Re: Help finding an old topic from the Atomic Think Tank

I'm probably going to just turn this post into my genera "this is a cool thread from ATT" post.

Charles Phipps Merged DC/Marvel Universe thread had a lot of fun ideas.

And here's my old Mean Streets of Magic thread that I might need to revisit someday.

Re: Help finding an old topic from the Atomic Think Tank

The thread I'm looking for is kind of similar to this thread by Kreuzritter , which has a lot of solid ideas in and of itself. In that thread I'm looking for I posted up some ideas regarding Centurion, Protonik, Sentinel and Vanguard, who opperated as that world's "Big Four", being the Superman anal...

Help finding an old topic from the Atomic Think Tank

Hey folks. Looking for some help from the long time members of the community that have been here since the Atomic Think Tank days. For those not in the know, The Atomic Think Tank was where this community really got its start, before the forums moved to Roninarmy and then a lot of us moved over here...

Re: What's new with the big two: Marvel and DC Comics discussion thread.

Oh and Carol Danvers is actually half Kree (because a male having a role in her origin, even an alien male, is apparently sexist  ) I rarely have any interest in posting here at all and usually only turn up to check out some of the frankly bizarre statements on display any more, but... Re: Jab’s Builds (Mother Gothel! Cassandra! Varian! Wreck-It Ralph!)

What's especially funny about Wreck-It Ralph is how much of a lie the trailer is. It paints the picture of it being some big video game crossover, where the actual appearances of other characters is incredibly brief. As Jab has mentioned, the scenes with the other Disney properties is likewise going...

Re: Daredevil Season 3 gets political

I'm willing to give them a chance and see where they're going with this. I'm likewise going to give it a chance, as Daredevil has been the most consistently good of the Netflix series, and the idea of Kingpin turning public opinion against Daredevil and Matt Murdock is straight from the comics. I j...

Re: Daredevil Season 3 gets political

This seems relevant to the topic at hand. No, I figured when the phrase "get political" was used, it meant "bash Trump" and I say this as someone who voted Libertarian because I didn't like either candidate. I not a fan of Trump, I think he's boorish, arrogant, self-satisfied, lacks both class and ...

Re: Daredevil Season 3 gets political

Journalists aren't victims in the modern era? While I fully realize A-list reporters and pundits in major markets command handsome salaries and perks, and certainly cache within the Beltway, the Coasts, and academia, there's another side to the argument: https://observer.com/2018/06/capital-gazette...

Re: Jab’s Builds (Rapunzel! Flynn! Mother Gothel! Cassandra!)

Regarding Tangled, I've only seen it once or twice with my nieces, and while it was cute, it didn't wow me the way other Disney films have. It's not bad, but it seems kind of . . . well . . . Dreamworks-y. Still, Rapunzel herself is adorable and sweet, and makes an interesting contrast to Tiana. Tia...

Re: What's new with the big two: Marvel and DC Comics discussion thread.

I've got to say, part of me would be really tempted if I wrote for DC to create a team of obvious analogies to Nadia, Riri, Moongirl, JaneThor, Gwenpool, SpiderGwen, Kate Bishiop, America Chavez and Squirrelgirl as a group of supervillains that basically all take a page from the Anita Sarkeesian pla...

Re: What's new with the big two: Marvel and DC Comics discussion thread.

The re-launch of Unstoppable Wasp came out as well, and that book remains terrible, mainly because it continues the fallacy that women are somehow being kept out of STEM fields, when in reality no one is being prevented from going into said fields, it's just that on average women gravitate towards o...

Re: Daredevil Season 3 gets political

And to go through this step by step: Comic books have always been political , In the sense that superheroes live in a world where politics exist, sure. Writers using superheroes to specifically push a political agenda and calling fans various insults for not following said agenda? That's fairly rece...
