What's next? Buffalo with wings?!
Actually the traditional symbol of the evangelist Luke is a winged ox or bull, which is close enough.

Re: Jab's Builds! (Bishop! Black Swan, Black Goliath & Black Talons! Blink!)

I don't think it's "diversity in comics" that the last decade has been struggling with per se. We have always had sidekicks and supporting cast who were allowed to be ethnic. The problem, if problem there be, is that all the superheroes themselves were created in the 1940s or 1960s and by default a...

Re: The Blob

<awesome Ares post full of good points> This is why I love the Laws of Magic in the Dresden Files setting. Once you exert your power to change someone's mind, you become someone who can rationalize doing so in the future, because that's how the mind works - the more you resort to something question...

Re: So, favorite pro wrestlers?

and just like that....Enzo is released.....which if he actually did sexually assault someone, good 'effin riddance I just want to say that the circumstances of his release are awful. I hope he wasn't released just because of the accusation. Everyone is entitled to due process. If he didn't actually...

Re: Jab's Builds! (Dino-Riders- Diplodocus! T-Rex! Brontosaurus! Kill Bill!)

Yeah, I... really didn't find her THAT attractive, either. I go for unconventional beauty myself (Leelee Sobieski is one of my all-timers, and I was WAY more into Molly Holly in the WWF than the augmented blonde brigade of Trish Stratus & Torrie Wilson), but watching Kill Bill and seeing guys just ...

Re: Jab's Builds! (T-Rex! Sauropods! Liopleurodon! Dino-Riders!)

Yeah, this set is more of interest as a set, more than individuals. I can't imagine there are many people who are eager to post on every single character posted.

Re: Castellia- A Fantasy Setting (Marilith! Pit Fiend! Balor!)

Ahh the Balor/Balrogg nightmare fuel for any PC group and the source of one of my enduring legends in the tale of Average Gul the fighter who killed one with an Arrow of Slaying anything by stabbing it in the eye during one of the most INSANE runs of natural 20s and nat 100s ive ever seen. (E...

Re: J-Mart Fantasy: Vampires, Aetherborn, Rajan, Vedalken, Thopter, Servo

Cool ideas! I've seen Mayan D&D worlds, Arabic D&D worlds, European D&D worlds, and more, but I've NEVER seen an India-themed D&D-type world before! One of my gaming pals keeps saying that a India-themed world must be the next step in fantasy writing. I'm a bit skeptic because ... well, while there...

Re: Reinhardt

So, it's like grave robbing? Considering how many cultures tend to frown on disturbing the remains of the dead, that might be why necromancy tends to be viewed as something less than positive. Grave robbing? I prefer the term 'premature archaeology.' :D And the people who will hang you for doing it...

Mine too. An armored lizard with a built-in friggin MACE. This is not a beast that celebrates the Fucksgiving holiday.

Re: Jab's Builds! (Pharah! Genji! Reinhardt! Doomfist! Dinosaurs!)

See, that's why my Castellia campaign world as a Good Necromancer as part of the backstory for my Obsidiaris character, with the "free labor" concept in mind. And my "Jabverse" superhero-verse has a world (Ice Princess' place of birth) featuring a kingdom for each of the "Eight Schools of Magic"- o...

Re: Jab's Builds! (D.Va! Mercy! Mei! Pharah! Hanzo! Genji! Ana!)

I like the idea of an evil healer (much like I love the idea of good necromancers) Necromancers that are "good" is a favorite concept of mine. In myth and legend, it used to be fairly common to think of magically utilizing the dead as a good thing. I mean, think about it - free labor! Armies that d...
