Re: The Supervillainy Saga thread

The Wild Bunch The Nineties were a dark time for superheroes with the Dark Age of Superheroes being in full swing. Many murderous psychopaths were embraced by the public and otherwise good heroes became far more willing to do awful deeds to accomplish what they perceived as a greater good. Heck, Ro...

Re: The Supervillainy Saga thread

I see, but with over a million supers I thought there would be an in-universe distinction. I didn't know Magneto enhanced his powers with magic. Still, he is born with significant superpowers I would say. OOC, it's more me thinking about how the separation of Spider-Man, Daredevil, and other Mutate...

Re: The Supervillainy Saga thread

Big Ben Benjamen Tocks is an interesting case of a villain who made his entire existence on taking on individuals out of his league. Despite not having any powers of his own, Big Ben remained one of the most consistent nemeses of the Nightwalker as well as inspiring generations of colorful criminal...

Re: The Supervillainy Saga thread

General Venom https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51VgQaDCIhL._SX342_SY445_.jpg Reality can go in odd directions depending on a slight change to events and sometimes these slight changes are immense ones. In some realities, General Venom was Jack Washington Junior. In this reality, he was actually ...

Re: The Supervillainy Saga thread

I would prefer Sun King to be a proper inborn super. Boomerang bigot trope always seemed a bit boring and meaningless to me. Being used a lot doesn't help either. I like that Magneto is a real mutant, a powerful one at that while also being a clever scientist as well as a charismatic leader. Unders...

Re: The Mythosverse

I've entertained this idea for a while and thought...why not do a few writeups? This is a universe that has superheroes but pretty much all the supernatural elements have their basis in the cosmic horror writings of H.P. Lovecraft and his peers and those inspired by him and the others. We are defin...

[Book Release] Moon Cops on the Moon

Hey folks, MOON COPS ON THE MOON! Neal Gordon has been reassigned from Antarctica to an even worse place: the moon! The crime-ridden oldest colony of Earth is full of cyborgs, terrorists, corrupt corporate goons, and old ladies with guns. Thankfully, he has a talking robot dog who loves gangster rap...

They've massively upgraded driving to but I fast travel anywhere so I didn't get much experience with it.

Re: Cyberpuink 2077

It's only a few more days until the massive update and a few more after that until the Phantom Liberty DLC drops. They've stopped the embargo on both and we're already getting the deets about what it's going to be like: Update 2.0 * New Skill Tree * Cold Blooded is no longer a thing * Crafting is no...

Re: The Supervillainy Saga thread

New Amsterdam America's largest city by capita is also one that tends to be cordoned off from larger events and sticks to its own business. That's because New Amsterdam isn't actually a part of America's history as is. It exists entirely as a result of The Big Ass Time Disaster (as named by Gary Ka...
